Ashley Royer: Novelist, Artist, Student

Junior at Peabody High Ashley Royer is achieving milestones beyond her years, for in April of this year, she will have her novel Remember to Forget published. The novel was originally worked on in 2014 in secrecy by the now seventeen-year old on the online writing platform, Wattpad. Eventually, her mother discovered it on there and was amazed by its immense popularity. Encouraged by her mom, Ashley pursued professional help in furthering her post into a novel.

Today the Wattpad story has 15.1 million reads and growing. It was a 2014 winner of the website’s award, called the Watty. It remains among the most read posts on the website and has accumulated a devout fanbase. Pre Order for the novel has proven many have a special place in their heart for the heavy story inspired originally by Ashley’s love for band 5 Seconds of Summer.

Given the inherent instability that comes with being an author, Ashley hopes to continue being a popular author and maintain her current support. Her love for writing will not be lost as she has been (mostly) regularly updating a new piece on her Wattpad that many follow as it is released.

The support by her fans are what keep Ashley working in a humbly excited way on top of the stress of a top class high school student. Her dedication to the story which was developed over a 10 month period has unexpectedly grown to the widely popular 50 part story it is today, set to be published April 5, 2016.
