Sara Benn describes her style as eccentric. She takes inspiration many aspects such as bohemia, femininity, and expresses it in an edgy manner. Her outfits are dependant on mood. On more down days she’ll often wear darker, more neutral colors whereas on lighter days she expresses herself through more flamboyant colors. Sara loves oversized fits and is often sporting this aesthetic from a day-to-day basis.

Sara’s favorite brand is Zara. She is intrigued by European influences in culture and fashion. In addition to shopping in department stores, she’s often shopping at thrift and vintage stores trying to find unique pieces.

Her style is currently undetermined as she is still in the process of finding it. She acquires inspiration from social media - often from style bloggers and celebrities. Sara determines what is interesting to her by how the clothing fits, or how it looks on her based on visual appearance.

Sara attended private school for seven years, in which she was deprived of creativity as she was mandated to be in uniform. As Sara began attending public school, she also gained more creative freedom in determining what she wears, but because of her ethnicity, she felt she stood out too much from her surroundings. As a result, Sara wanted to conform to a more standard look, similar to her classmates. This behavior remained until her sophomore year, when she began experimenting with more creative looks. By the end of sophomore year, she began to fully immerse herself in fashion- with an unapologetic attitude. Sara has decided that she would like to pursue a career in fashion relating to marketing.
