Pen vs. Pencil: Which Writing Utensil is Best?

Pen vs. Pencil: a popular topic of debate among PVMHS students. But which writing utensil is the best? I asked several students for their opinion, and the results were truly interesting.

61.5% of the students I asked said that pen is their favorite tool to use when writing, and 38.5% of the students preferred pencil. One student who voted for pen stated that while they preferred pen in general, they like using pencil for math. Another student, who voted for pencil, stated that they like to use mechanical pencils specifically.

Both pens and pencils are helpful when writing essays, calculating math problems, and doodling flowers in the margins of notebook paper.
