Welcome to the first edition of Music Monday! The day where we make your Monday more bearable. Remember we take requests, so make sure to shoot @thetannertimes a DM on Instagram to request your favorite songs!
This week's winning song is Lost in Japan - Remix by Shawn Mendes (Remixed by Zedd).
This song is a perfect upbeat song for dancing, and Zedd did a great job remixing it. Shawn Mendes’s talented vocals and this not-so-simple and specific love song coming together makes a really catchy song. I really like the line “I can feel the tension, I could cut it with a knife.” I also like the ending bridge where the music slows down before the outro and we get a more raw sound from Shawn, as well as some of the backing vocals give it a chill and angelic vibe for a moment.
Of course, we all know Shawn Mendes, who started out on the Vine platform and rose to fame with his songs like “Stitches” and “Life of the Party.” He’s coming to Boston August 15th, 2019 as well as this years Jingle Ball!
I’ve had this song on repeat for the past 10 minutes! It's really catchy and original. If you like an upbeat pop song, it's perfect for you. So, do you like this song? Find out and listen to it here on Spotify, Pandora or YouTube!
