Music Monday No. 9: "Hey Jude"

I just listened to this song for the first time when it was nominated, and it is a great song. I love the slow beat and quiet tone. I also like the vocals and instruments playing in the background. I love the message behind the lyrics telling “Jude” not to be afraid of anything, and that he can do great things in the world.
"Hey Jude" was also nominated for multiple Grammys. The awards were "Record of the Year," "Song of the Year," and "Best Pop Performance." They did not win any of them, but to be nominated for three Grammys is still a great thing. This song was also one of the longest singles to be out at the time, which was a big thing for the Beatles.
