The Tanners Take on Talent
On Saturday, September 26th, Peabody High hosted a talent show with a variety of acts performed. From dancing, singing, and even playing instruments, a diverse audience got to see all of the talents that walk through PVMHS.
Jenn Puzzo, a sophomore, says she “knew that it was going to be a fun and exciting experience…” Puzzo was a solo act and sang “Count On Me” by Bruno Mars. She won 2nd place in the talent show.
Aside from Jenn, Neil Sherman, a freshman, won first place playing the piano and singing “Quiet Please, There’s a Lady On Stage” by Peter Allen. When I asked a few of the audience members, many described him as a “prodigy” and were blown away by what he brought to the show.
“I’ve been playing piano for four years and singing for five [years],” Sherman states. “It was an amazing feeling, knowing there were people out in the audience that were actually listening to me.” With Jenn and Neil, Richard Moore, a senior, performed an outstanding marching band piece on the drums that won him a spot in 3rd place.
“Being a part of the talent show is such a wonderful thing because students get to showcase their talents and creativeness,” Jenn Puzzo claims.
Every year, Peabody High creates this event that displays the talents, known and unknown, of many students from different grades. Jenn, Neil, Richard, and everyone else that performed did an extraordinary job and we are excited to see what will come to the show next year.
